Deevo started rapping with friends at college back in 2003 just for enjoyment. In 2005 he returned and decided to take music a little more seriously being one of the founding members of Tha Franchize. This course led to numerous opportunities including performing alongside huge UK acts such as: Phi-Life Cypher, Blak Twang, Moorish Delta 7 and Skinnyman at the 2005 Godiva festival. Tha Franchize made a radio appearance on Kenny Jordan's R&B show on Kix 96. Tha Franchize, became Tha Franchize Family and have since performed at numerous events throughout the city, and also performed in front of 300+ in London as part of the Alizay.co.uk Unsigned UK Talent Tour 2007. Since then, Deevo has developed his style to become one of the most versatile artists in the local scene today with his delivery not sounding out of place on any track he touches from thought provoking rap, to punch lines on club tracks to hard hitting deliveries on grime and bassline. After creating a buzz on the local scene as part of Tha Franchize Family, Deevo has looked to expand his horizons by deciding to make moves as a solo artist, and continue to grace the scene with his music and versatile style and continuing his allegiance with Tha Franchize Family.
