Dan started up Influential Entertainment while doing music business back in college. After a few successful events working closely with other artist’s urban style artists around the city he created the label Influential Entertainment. He made Influential with the intension to help other up and coming artists by giving them a platform to show off there music, for example giving them regular studio time, live performances and free online promotion. A few years down the line Influential Entertainment have become the only successful independent record label in the Coventry area doing regular shows and events around the country showcasing Coventry's finest urban acts.

Dan-W himself is a talented artist heavily influenced by mainstream hip-hop and dance music. Dan raps but his music could be called Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B or Dance, he even has a strong Pop element to his music. His cheeky raps and creative word play along with his style of music is an exciting unique mix on today's electro hip-hop blend. Some have called it Hip-Pop but what ever you call it, it’s energetic, positive and bouncy. Dan has a strong fan base and understands there needs and try's to interact with his supporters as much as he can. He appreciates the support as without that he wouldn't be able to make a living doing what he loves. Dan is always working on new music so you’re always sure to hear something new, Dan also managers the other acts on the label so he works hard to push the whole team and represent the city his from. Dan has worked hard to create a brand not just for his label but himself and if you hear someone say “Its Dan Who?” there isn’t going to be someone to far away to reply “Its Dan-W!”. With music on iTunes, having his own online clothing store and supporting big name UK acts like Tinie Tempah, N-Dubz, Professor Green, Giggs, Lethal B and many more its not long before everyone knows the name Dan-W!
